In shallow ponds, like graceful koi fish, you begin to notice their intricacies. As one delves deeper, like navigating the coral reef, you uncover their scars and rough edges, still finding beauty within. But with familiarity comes the realisation: you’re being pulled through the ocean's depths, dredged from the bottom, understanding they're not who you initially took them to be. Then comes acceptance. The initial wave of emotions has receded, leaving decay and a mere shell of what once thrived. That's when you reach the bottom, a realm of tranquility, yet also of demise. It's dark, devoid of light, where nothing remains to be seen; what once was, has long faded away.
